Cocaine and GOS transmitter found in steel tube at the hull
The police detected a so-called “parasite”, a steel tube attached to the underwater hull of the 'MTM Potomac' which had arrived on Aug 4, 2020, at Santo Tomas De Castilla, comgin from Santa Marta in Colombia. The tube was filled with 56 packages containing cocaine. There was a GPS transmitter inside the tube to track the shipment and help traffickers, who were to receive the drugs, to locate it. The crew and the ship’s management were not suspicions.
