Call at Milford Haven cancelled
The scheduled visit of the "Ocean Majesty" to Milford Haven this weekend has been cancelled due to bad weather. She was set to arrive from Cork at 7 a.m. on Sep 16, 2017, as part of its 11-night voyage from Bremerhaven. Passengers were scheduled to enjoy trips to St David’s, Pembroke Castle, Tenby and Upton Castle, as well as complimentary entry into Milford Haven Museum, before departing for Falmouth. But the due to adverse weather, the call has been cancelled.
Cruise ships skip calls at Montoir
The call pf the "Ocean Majesty at Montoir scheduled for May 27 was canceled because of social revolts. The vessel was diverted to Belle-Île. This is the second cruise ship stopover which was canceled in the port after that of the "Braemar" on June 19. It ws still unclear whether the arrival of the "FTI Berlin", scheduled May 27, will be maintained.
Medevac off Mallorca
On May 17 a passenger aboard the "Ocean Majesty" fell ill off Mallorca. Already on May 13 a crew member had needed medical assistance and had to be taken off at the Canaries. In this case a medevac was required, and captain Ioannis Papangelis headed to Cap Formentor, while on Mallorca a Agusta Westland helicopter took off and reached the "Ocean Majesty" at 10:30 a.m. The patient was hoisted and taken ahsore.
