Bulkcarrier had double bottom touch

During the discharge operations, the "Armata" touched the bottom at Chittagong on Sep 27, 2018, at 8.30 p.m. due to low tide, at Chittagong port. Damages to the hull were apprehended. At 3.30 p.m., the vessel had berthed at Jetty No. 4. The depth was 6,22 metres and the vessel's draft was about 8,15 metres. A joint survey by the vessel and charterers surveyors was carried out in the night of Sep 28 and no structural damages have been observed. On Sep 29, the vessel got stuck again at 08.30 a.m. once more due to low tide.
