Three passengers injured in allision with pier in Helsingborg

Three passengers were hurt, and one was taken to hospital with neck injuries after the "Pernille" ran into the outer pier in Helsingborg on Apr 11, 2013, just before 4 p.m. The ferry had come from Helsingör when the accident happened. the 30 passengers were told to sit down immediately before the allision. Glass shattered and tables were thrown around, the bow suffered a big dent at the bow on the port side. After the accident, rescue services, police and ambulance as well as the Swedish Coast Guard attended after the ship docked at the Sundsbussarnas Terminal. On Apr 12 the "Pernille" was back in service. The exact cause of the accident was still unknown, but it was thought that the ship may have been caught by the currents. Short time before, the ferry had crossed the course of a Scandlines ferry and possibly veered a bit too much to port.
