Engine damage in Aegina

On the morning of Aug 7, 2925,the Port Authority of Aegina was informed by the Captain of the 'Phivos' about a generator failure ahead of the departure for the execution of a scheduled route to the ports of Methana and Poros. The Port Authority of Aegina prohibited the departure of the ferry until the repair of the damage and the presentation of a certificate of class maintenance from the monitoring classification society. The 335 passengers, 36 private cars, one truck one bus and 13 motorcycles, were forwarded to their destinations with the care of the ship-owning company.

Engine damae off Piraeus

On June 20, 2024, at noon , the Port Authority of Argosaronicos was informed by the Master of the 'Phivos' about a damage to the port side main engine, while the ship was on a scheduled route from the port of Aegina to the port of Piraeus. The ferry sailed independently and safely to the port of Piraeus, where it disembarked the 133 passengers. The Port Department of the Central Port Authority of Piraeus banned the vessel from sailing until the repair of the damage and the presentation of a certificate of class maintenance by the monitoring classification society.

Ship lost anchor

The Port Authority of Piraeus was informed in the morning of Oct 8, 2021, by the Captain of the 'Phivos' that while the ship was operating a scheduled route coming from the port of Aegina, lost its port side anchor shortly before the completion of the mooring process. The ship managed to safely berth in the port of Piraeus, and the passengers who were to board the ship on its next scheduled route to Aegina, were forwarded to their destination with the care of the ship-owning company.
