Dos Amigos towed to Pollença

On Feb 5, 2026, the 9.5-meter fishing vessel 'Dos Amigos - 3CP-3-2033' , 4,81 gt (CS: IRCS) with two crew members on board suffered an engine failure and ropped anchor off Cala Figuera de Formentor. After the fishermen requested assistance. the CCS Palma of Salvamento Marítimo deployed the Salvamar Saiph, which took the vessel in tow and safely pulled it to the port of Pollença.

Yacht towed to Alcudia

The sailing yacht 'Hiva Oa' went adrifted on the night of Sep 3 in Cala Estremer (Pollença) due to engine failure, and requested assistance. The 'Salvamar Saiph' was mobilized by the CCS Palma of Salvamento Marítimo. it took the boat in tow and safely pulled it to the port of Alcudia.

On Feb 6, 2025, the Spanish flagged fishing vessel 'Es Virot', with three crew members on board, suffered a mechanical breakdown eight nautical miles east of Cala Ratjada (Mallorca). The CCS Palma of Salvamento Marítimo mobilized the 'Salvamar Saiph' to assist, which took the ship in tow and safely pulled it to Cala Ratjada.
