Freight deck evacuated after smoke development
On Sep 10, 2012, strong smoke development from a truck was remarked about midday aboard the "Stena Forecaster" which was in the Västra port in Hangö at that time. The crew managed to rectify the situation in short time. Hydraulic oil had spilled out of the truck and on the hot exhaust pipe on the truck. The surrounding area was quickly evacuated and the truck unloaded. When the rescue services arrived at the scene, the situation was already under control. The ship departed for Lübeck around 10 p.m.News schreiben
