Cooling pipe trouble

The "My Meray" encountered problems with a cooling pipe of the engine room in pos 50 21 00.6 N 000 56 42 W, on Feb 14, 2019, 2019. The bulk carrier was en route from Klaipeda to Santos. After repairs were completed, the vessel resumed its voyage with an ETA as of March 4.

Collision off Chittagong

The "Meray" and the "Orhan" collided in the morning of Sep 9. 2017, at 7 a.m. on outer Chittagong anchorage. The "Meray" was already anchored when she was hit by the "Orhan". The "Meray" was loaded with 37661 tons of TSP (triple superphosphate) fertilizer of the Nowapara Traders company and suffered breach in cargo hold 5, with ensuing water ingress. The hold was flooded, 4,000 tons of the cargo were spoiled after water seeped in through the cracks. The "Orhan" arrived at Chittagong with cargo of urea fertilizer.
