Thu Mar 22 10:26:12 CET 2018 Timsen

In the morning of March 22, 2018, the "AB2 Future" ran aground on the Caland Canal just outside Hoek van Holland. First tug on scene had been the "Hampshire" which was, after all, not involved in the salvage operation. The tugs "Multratug 3", "Multratug 31" and "Fairplay 1" were quickly on the spot and pulled the ship back into deeper water around 9.10 a.m. The mooring boat "RVE 41“ assistied the tugs. The "AB 2 Future" had sailed from Moerdijk at 4.30 a.m. The ship finally left Rotterdam on March 23 at 3.50 a.m., bound to Moerdijk where it berthed at the Combined Cargo Terminals (CCT) ion March 24 at 9 a.m. Best regards First tug on scene had been the "Hampshire" which was, after all, not involved in the salvage operation.
