Allision off Oita
The STI Steadfast' was in allision with the tanker 'Toei Maru' at anchorage No.7 which was moored south of the anchorage on Sep 23, 2021, around 03.10 a.m., near Oita Port. No injuries or oil spills occurred. On Sep 24 she berthed in Oita.
Navig8 Product Tankers Inc. Takes Delivery of Its Sixth 110,000 DWT LR2 Product Tanker
Navig8 Product Tankers Inc. (the “Company”) (N-OTC: EIGHT), an international shipping company focused on the transportation of petroleum products, today announced that it has taken delivery of theNavig8 Steadfast, a 110,000 DWT LR2 tanker, from Sungdong Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering Co., Ltd. (“Sungdong”). The Navig8 Steadfast is the third vessel to be delivered under the sale and leaseback arrangements entered into with Ocean Yield ASA (“Ocean Yield”) announced on July 13, 2015. Following delivery from Sungdong, the Navig8 Steadfastwas delivered to Ocean Yield under the terms of the Sale MOA and then delivered back to the Company under bareboat charter.
