Health departments still searching for passenger of cruises with COVID 19 ifections

Gale kept cruise ships in port

Tugs were called to stabilized the ships at their berths due to the gale force winds. The call of the 'Artania' at Port Elizabeth was skipped. Also the schedule of the 'AIDAmira was affected as she could not enter the port of Cape Town, as well as the 'Nautica' which was slated to reach the port at midday. On Jan 20 at 9 a.m. the 'Artania' left the port enroute to Durban, ETA Jan 22, followed by the 'MSC Orchestra' short time later on its way to Durban with an ETA as of Jan 24. The 'AIDAmira' was berthed at 11:30 a.m., followed by the 'Nautica'.
